Jason is the Executive Director of the Nunavut Wildlife Management Board based in Iqaluit, Nunavut since 2013. He's completed a Masters in Biology from Carleton University, while working at the Canadian Wildlife Services, and continues applying his knowledge of western science and Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit in strategic planning and co-management.

Tommy holds a Social Sciences Diploma from John Abbott College and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Concordia University. He has over 14 years of experience in Economic Development at the Kativik Regional Government and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Nunavik Marine Region Wildlife Board.

Amy Caughey, PhD
Amy is a registered dietitian and public health nutritionist in Nunavut, specializes in initiatives related to Inuit country food sovereignty, food security, and diabetes education. With a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Metabolism, she is currently a PhD candidate in Public Health at the University of Guelph, focusing on Inuit country food and early human nutrition.

Pitsiula Kilabuk
Pitsiula is the Community Health Representative for the Department of Health (DOH) in Pangnirtung, where she leads health promotion initiatives. Born and raised in Kimmirut, Nunavut, she is passionate about her Inuit culture and enjoys sharing country food. With over 30 years of experience working for the DOH, Pitsiula is dedicated to serving her community and promoting wellness.

Bear Guard & Safety Specialist
Derrick Pottle
Derrick leads a traditional Inuit lifestyle of hunting and trapping. For over 45 years, he has served on boards and advisory groups within Nunatsiavut, while also engaging in commercial fur harvesting, guiding, and educating on bear safety through his company, BearSafe Planning Inc.
Research Scientist
Dominique Henri, PhD
Dominique , a Research Scientist at Environment and Climate Change Canada, specializes in collaborative research with Inuit communities on wildlife, climate change, and cultural heritage. Her expertise lies in mobilizing Indigenous and Western knowledge for wildlife co-management in Arctic and northern Canada.
Lead Specialist, Arctic Conservation
Brandon Laforest
Brandon represents WWF-Canada on the Arctic Programme’s Steering Committee and the Species Working Group. He supports Inuit-led conservation initiatives, manages habitat protection, and oversees the Arctic Species Conservation Fund.
