Online Learning With
Community Voices
At Cloudberry, we're developing a dynamic approach to online learning that translates community knowledge, academic research, and storytelling into engaging educational resources. Our method focuses on building co-created learning experiences that reflect diverse voices, knowledge systems, and ways of learning. Whether it’s a film-based course like Nanuk Narratives, a professional learning platform like the Community of Practice, or a curriculum transformation like Paigitsiaguk, our online courses are designed to centre underrepresented stories while also offering tools and reflection spaces for learners.

Using the LearnWorlds platform, we design courses to be structured with clearly defined modules, flexible navigation, and rich multimedia integration, including videos, illustrations, PDFs, and reflection prompts to support multiple ways of learning and knowing.

Benefits
Education for Different Learners: Our Courses can be designed for various audiences, such as youth, educators, and policy professionals. We integrate experiential and reflective learning approaches to foster engagement.
Multi-Modal Learning: By combining video, illustration, readings, and interactive components, we create layered learning experiences that reflect the complexity and depth of the stories being told.
Flexible Access: Online learning allows for flexible access across geographies and time zones, while offering opportunities for asynchronous engagement that allow learners to move at their own pace and return to materials as needed.
Flexible Learning: We aim to create place-based education when relevant so that the content is is grounded in local context and lived experience, which can help preserve and share that place-based knowledge in a respectful and engaging way.
